Trashed Topps Vs Topps Trash

I ripped a bunch of 2025 Stadium Club stuff and I'm sitting on the floor in a pile of wrappers rather underwhelmed by it all.  Lots of stuff to trade but not a single Ivy card, despite having half a dozen Cubbies.  A couple of good action shots but no red or black foils, but a whole pile of baby blue no foils, none of which have an action shot.  TSC is a place I have mined many odd parallels out of to used in my Action Parallel Frankenset, but its looking unlikely this year.  Unless you have a parallel of card #2.

So after all of that what I'm really excited about is what came in the mail for the Trashed Frankenset.

And some more choice nuggets

Still more choice nuggetry

You are now getting downright jealous about the trashiness of my collection

I'm not saying I paid a lot for them, but I wouldn't spend as much on brand new cards of parallels or even inserts.  I just haven't felt much excitement once I put together a whole set, I kinda wonder what to do with it now.  The binders I have filled sit, mostly. A lot of the heritage sets sit stacked in boxes. But I am constantly going down rabbit holes trying to find cards that fit a Frankenset.  I'm constantly having to check do I need a particular number in a set and if I do, adding it to a want list or trolling thru collections to find suitable candidates.  There is more anticipation and then adulation once a card shows up and slips into an empty slot.  The chaos of it all keeps it fresh for me and it feels like there is something new on every page no matter how many times I've flipped thru the binder.  It is just now dawning on me that initially I needed the order of card collecting to quiet my mind.  I started fiddling with cards, sorting cards and such as a distraction for the things I'd been thru, but after a while my brain wants to induce some chaos into the mix.  I might be onto something here.
